Arkansas Way

Bluegrass Jam┬áThe Ozark mountains are beautiful, and so are the people of this land. I’m sitting here in a cafe in an art gallery in downtown Mountain View, AR. There is music always in the air here whether it is the musician playing his dulcimer in the cafe explaining it’s heritage or the bluegrass jam that happens almost every evening, especially during the weekends. These evenings draw both young and old, and everything from Johnny Cash, to Celtic tunes, to old gospel favorites are sung and strummed.

We’ve had a great time here in AR, enjoying the sights and sounds. I’ll have to write a couple of other posts describing our trip and events over the week. This is my very first post, so hopefully I’ll get better at figuring out how to do all this!
